Who we are
The Creator Index is produced by [legal entity name], trading as Creator (getcreator.io), [registered address], registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number [KvK number]. We decide how the personal data described here is used, which makes us its controller under the GDPR. You can reach us at [privacy email].
What we use
About the advisors we score
- From your public LinkedIn profile: your name, headline, About section, Featured items, profile links, follower count, whether your profile has a photo, banner and custom address, and your posts from the last 90 days with their numbers of reactions, comments and reposts.
- From public registries and business contact data: your firm’s name, size, city and state, and whether your CFP® certification shows in CFP Board’s public lookup.
- What we work out from that: your scores, three strengths, the one change that would raise your score most, and the reasons behind each judgment.
About people who use our forms
Your name, email address, LinkedIn link, firm, what you asked us to do, and the link that brought you to the site.
We do not use anything that is not public, and nothing about your clients.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To produce and publish the Creator Index. Our legitimate interest in publishing research on how financial advisors use LinkedIn. Only the 100 advisors on The Creator 100 are shown publicly, with their name, firm, location, rank, score and three strengths. Nobody else’s score is published.
- To contact advisors we scored about their score. Our legitimate interest in business contact about your public professional profile. You can object at any time and we will stop.
- To answer what you ask for in a form. Your request, and your consent when you tick the box to be emailed about your score. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that process it for us: Vercel (hosts this website), HighLevel (our contact database), Unipile (reads public LinkedIn data for us) and Anthropic (the AI model that scores the judgment items). Some of them are based in the United States. When data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
- Raw data read from LinkedIn: deleted after 90 days.
- Scores: kept for [retention period], so we can show changes from month to month.
- Published lists stay online as a record of each month. If you ask to be removed, we take you off every list within 30 days.
- Form requests: kept while we are in touch with you, and deleted when you ask.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, or to receive a copy. You can object to our use of it at any time, including to being contacted. Use the removal and correction form or email [privacy email]. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or to the authority where you live.
